Satellite heart (Anya’s Version) out now
Nearly 14 years after my song Satellite Heart appeared in Twilight: New Moon, changing my life forever—and inspired by Swift’s bold moves to own her catalog--I thought it was time to revisit Satellite Heart and make it my own. The result is fresh and new, while honoring the spirit of the original. I played guitars, Hilary James carved out a lovely cello part, Chris Hansen filled out the rest, and Gregg Williams mixed to perfection. I've been taking vocal lessons recently—for fun, and also to address some of the fears I have had around singing--and I have to say that this vocal take feels the most "me" of anything I have done. I hope you like "Satellite Heart (Anya's Version)."

Look at this as if you're joining my record label or production company. Since 2013, I've supported myself as an independent artist, collaborating with others on my songs, EPs, albums, videos and music-adjacent projects. Why did I start this?
For one, I am prone to hiding out. I'd like to combat that, so starting this community and committing to being in regular touch and making things regularly and sharing them with the world feels like a great way to fight some of my old tendencies.
