Thanks to ALL who came out to shows in London. We had a cracking good time with our very "fit" new London-based drummer, Debs, and also with "Big George" Webley at BBC London who invited us back 3 times in one week!
Be sure to tune in/stream Big George's show often, as Anya is accepting his transatlantic calls quite frequently these days.

Concentrated recording for LP2 will commence in about a week, so forgive our lack of updates. We be puttin' it on wax.

In the meantime, folks in the Los Angeles area should be sure to attend this very special Hollywood Schoolhouse Rocks benefit show:

Sat Feb 16 @ Hotel Cafe
with Anya, Greg Laswell, Josh Kelley, Josh Radin, Low vs Diamond, and Cary Brothers among others!

We don't know what this means, metaphorically, but we like that The Real World used "Fantasy" as the music for a scene in which Leo "pushes Johanna down after she refuses to eat his hot dog."

SEPTEMBER 2005

JULY 2005

"Clean & Sober" will be featured as the last musical piece on the show in tonight's episode (July 19) of The Real World: Austin. We hope it'll be used as the backdrop for an orgy or an overdose scene, but we'll settle for anything!
The Real World airs tonight (July 19) at 10pm ET/PT.

If you'd like to buy Miss Halfway, which features the song, DO IT!

Mon. May 24...No, Anya does not sing in Spanish
For those of you who were at the "Whad'Ya Know?" show or at Lou & Rain's in New Jersey, you may notice something strange on your recent purchase of Anya's "Exercises In Racketeering" EP. Turns out, a small number of CD's were printed incorrectly and, apparently, feature all sorts of different music (Spanish, God Bless America, etc.) that isn't Anya's. If you got stuck with one of these, please email us and we will ship you a new one at no cost. We at AnyaMarina.com apologize profusely for the incovenience and thank you for your patience!
